Midland Paws is a friendly Montclair dog walking and sitting service run by a stay-at-home mum and lifelong dog lover right here in the neighborhood.

Having had family dogs my whole life, I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust — someone who treats your dog like family. That is why I only walk and sit for one household at a time, giving each dog the care, attention, and comfort they deserve.

I’d be happy to discuss all different types of care you may need. From longer hikes up at Eagle Rock, spending some time with your pup at your home to just letting them run around my fenced in yard for an hour a day.

If your dog is kid-friendly, then it’s their lucky day! We offer a true family dog-sitting experience — personal, loving, and unlike a kennel or high-volume sitter. We only care for one dog at a time, or two from the same household, so your pup gets the love, attention, and comfort they’re used to at home.

Our goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, happy, and cared for in a true home-away-from-home. We have a fenced-in, landscaped yard, plenty of space to play, relax, and explore, and lots of family attention throughout the day.

We always ask that you and your pup come by for a free meet and greet, so you can meet us, see the space, and decide whether it feels like the right little vacation spot for your dog.

Hi, I’m Holly — a local stay-at-home mum to a lively 5-year-old boy. Originally from England, I moved to NYC in 2011 to work in the finance and audit world, and now happily call lovely Montclair home.

Our family dog of 14 years sadly passed away last year, and I’ve truly missed having a furry companion in my life — which is what inspired me to start Midland Paws.

I offer reliable, friendly dog walks with plenty of care, patience, and attention for every pup. Whether your dog enjoys a gentle stroll or needs to burn off some energy, I focus on safe, fun walks and giving you peace of mind knowing your dog is always in loving hands.
